Learning Light Bulbs hosts the musings of Nathan (Nate) Gildart. Living in Japan since 1997, Gildart plays a dual role of Teacher & Instructional Technology Coach. His teaching concentrations are in High School History & Political Science, Middle School Social Studies, and Theory of Knowledge, based at an International Baccalaureate school in Tokyo. Along with teaching he assists middle and high school faculty in developing teaching and learning strategies that are enhanced with technology, as well as providing support to staff and students when using technology for learning. His focus is finding tools that support learning. Gildart is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, Google Certified InnovatorGoogle Certified Educator (Level 2), and GEG Leader for West Tokyo. A self-professed ‘PD junkie’, Gildart posts educational musings on his learning blog, recently revamped, and found in the menu of this website.
